2018 National Night Out
The “35th Annual National Night Out” (NNO), a unique crime and drug prevention event, has been scheduled for Tuesday, August 7, 2018. We cordially invite you and your neighbors to be part of our Ashwaubenon National Night Out 2018 Team.
National Night Out is designed to:
- Heighten crime, drug and violence prevention awareness;
- Generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime programs;
- Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships;
- Send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
National Night Out is a great time to host a get-together. It doesn’t matter if you simply invite your neighbors to meet in your driveway or hold a block party complete with food, games, and awards. The important fact is that your neighbors are getting together.
An expected 37 million people in more than 15,000 communities will join forces on August 2nd to promote police-community partnerships; crime, drug, and violence prevention; safety; and neighborhood unity. Please join the Ashwaubenon Department of Public Safety in celebrating National Night Out 2018 on Tuesday, August 7.
