Welcome to the Ashwaubenon Department of Public Safety homepage. We provide the Village of Ashwaubenon with exceptional Police, Fire, & Emergency Medical Services.
We offer a variety of prevention and community support functions. The Village of Ashwaubenon has a population of 18,000 people and a daytime working population of 50,000 people. The task is daunting. I would be remiss if I didn't tell you what a great job our officers and staff do each day. I can tell you with confidence that our people are indeed the best – we have a goal of providing what we call “PRIDE” in serving our community. This means that each day our people strive to do their very best to serve you – to go the extra mile to meet your needs.
Our Department is made up of 50 Public Safety Officers, 25 paid on call fire fighters, 1 K9 Officer and his dog Ole, 8 civilian employees (this includes the fire inspections). They are committed to answering your calls for emergency assistance, help you resolve non emergency issues, investigate crimes, provide public education, and work with schools, neighborhoods, and our business community to prevent crime and fires.
