Municipal Court

The Ashwaubenon Municipal Court holds court every Wednesday evening at 6:00 p.m. This court adjudicates both traffic and non-traffic citations issued by the Ashwaubenon Public Safety Department along with citations issued by Ashwaubenon Public Works. Our primary duty is to administer justice in a fair and unbiased manner.

Order Temporarily Suspending In-Person Court Proceedings in Brown County

As a result of the explosive increase in positive COVI-19 tests and actual infections in Brown County, and in accordance with the advice of Dr. Rai, and in consultation with the Director of State Courts and the presiding judges in those counties, Hon. James A. Morrison, Chief Judge of 8th Judicial District, is suspending all in-person court proceedings in Brown County until October 30, 2020.

As a result of this Order, Ashwaubenon Municipal Court sessions are cancelled for October 21, 2020:

  • Initial Appearance at 6:00 pm – CANCELLED

With regard to Initial Appearances, if you wish, you may make your plea of guilty, no contest or not guilty via email at: along with any statement you would like to make to the court.  If your citation is for operating motor vehicle without insurance; please provide a copy of your insurance card in effective at the time of your violation.
