On Thursday, March 22 a Blood Drive in Honor of Officer Brian Murphy will be held at the Ashwaubenon Community Center (900 Anderson Drive) from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
On July 22, 2017, Officer Murphy was on duty and assisting with a car fire on Interstate 41 when he was struck by another vehicle. Murphy suffered life threatening injuries, received blood transfusions, and required several surgeries. First responders like Murphy truly know the significance of having donated blood on the shelves to help during emergencies. This drive is in honor of Murphy and is a way to give back while honoring local first responders. Please sign up today!
The need for blood is constant and only volunteer donors can fulfill that need for patients in our community. Nationwide, someone needs a unit of blood every 2 to 3 seconds and most of us will need blood in our lifetime. Thank you for supporting the American Red Cross blood program!
