Current Positions Open

Director of Community Development

The Village of Ashwaubenon is hiring a Director of Community Development.  This full-time position is responsible to business recruitment and development within the Village, as well as facilitating redevelopment opportunities in the Village.  Ashwaubenon is progressive community of 17,000 people guided by a 7 person Village Board that is supportive of growth and redevelopment in the Village.  A successful candidate will have a strong background in planning principles, tax increment financing, other economic development tools, and able to manage numerous projects including some with a high level of complexity.  Excellent salary ($60,000 - $72,000 DOQ) and benefits.  Candidates are encouraged to submit their application by May 12, 2017 but the position will remain open until filled

Summer Forestry Maintenance

Under the direction of the Village Forester, Seasonal forestry maintenance employees are responsible for the planting, pruning, watering and general maintenance of trees, shrubs, and flowers in the Village’s parks, green spaces, right-of-ways and other municipal facilities.  Starting pay at $9.00/hr.

Lake Lifeguard

The Ashwaubnon Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department is currently seeking lifeguards positions at Ashwaubomay lake.  Some responsibilities include supervising patrons during all lake activities and enforcing lake rules and regulations, watching for hazardous situations and preventing accidents, and performing other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Director.  Position is part-time.  Applicants must be at least 16 years old and hold a current certification in Lifeguard Training, Community First Aid and Safety & CPR for the Professional Rescuer. Applications can be found on the village website or also in the park and recreation office at the Community Center.  Questions can be directed to Melody Escoto, Aquatics Coordinator, at 492-2331. 


Lake Concessionaire / Admissions

The Ashwaubenon Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department is currently seeking concessionaire/ addmissions positions at Ashwaubomay lake.  Some responsibilities include operation and maintenance of the concession stand, selling lake admissions, and enforcing lake rules and regulations. Swim Instructor

The Ashwaubenon Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department is currently seeking Swim Instructors for the high school pool.  You will be responsible for instructing participants in swimming techniques, skills and water safety.  Instruction must meet the prescribed standards as set by the American Red Cross and the Ashwaubenon Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department swimming program. Position is evenings and weekends !  Applicants must be at least 16 years old and hold a current certification in Lifeguard Training, Community First Aid and Safety & CPR for the Professional Rescuer. Additional qualifications, such as past instructor experience or a WSI certification (Water Safety Instruction), are a plus but not necessary.  Starting pay is: $10.00 or $10.50 with a WSI certification

Adult League Umpires (Part-Time)

Applications are being taken for “Adult League Umpires”.  As an umpire, you would be working adult league softball games (slow-pitch or modified) @ the Ashwaubenon Sports Complex.  Games run M-TH nights. The Village is flexible in working around umpire availability.
