The Clerk's office is the custodian of all records of the Village pertaining to the Village Board matters and other legal records required by law to be maintained and kept. Records are available for inspection during regular office hours in the Clerk's office; however, written requests for documents, photocopies, maps, recordings, etc., may be filled out on the Open Record Request form provided by the Clerk's office. A specific request will be duly responded to in reasonable time.
The Village shall collect from the requester actual costs for copies, at $.25 cents per copy plus mailing and research costs, if applicable. Visual inspection of public records during normal office hours is at no expense; however, an appointment is preferred.
