Doing Business In the Village

As Village President Michael Aubinger states “Ashwaubenon is a premier choice for business in Brown County. We have land for commercial development and welcome all types of business – transportation and manufacturing to high technology and service-related industries. Our TIF districts make it reasonable to locate in Ashwaubenon.”

Where to begin? This page is designed to provide you some of the contacts and information necessary to answer your questions relative to doing business in the Village of Ashwaubenon.

A place to start is with the Building Inspector and Zoning Administrator, located in the Public Works Department at Village Hall.  He can assist with zoning, building permits (Municipal Code Sec. 5-40) and/or direction for property development.  Todd Gerbers at 492-2309 or can be reached during business hours at Village Hall. There are regular inspections which will take place including weights and measures (Municipal Code Sec. 6-438) and annual fire inspections (Municipal Code Sec. 13-26).  Initially, the Business Information Log will be required for contact information of your business and/or building.
